Doll House Fashion – Brand Identity, Packaging & E-commerce Design

A playful brand crafted for imagination.

Doll House Fashion is a Kenyan brand that creates stylish, miniature clothing for dolls. We partnered with the team to build a vibrant and cohesive visual world that speaks to both children and their parents—from brand identity and packaging to an e-commerce website and custom merchandise. The project included a whimsical visual identity, African-inspired patterns, branded apparel for kids, and digital assets that brought the collections—Nemy, Nala, and Zella—to life. Rooted in local creativity, Doll House Fashion is proudly made in Kenya and designed to inspire joy through every detail.

Building A Playful Kenyan Brand Experience Across Identity, Packaging, Web, and Experiential

The Brief
Doll House Fashion is a Kenya-based brand creating Afro-chic doll outfits designed to inspire imagination, self-expression, and cultural pride in young girls. As a new entrant in the toy and fashion space, the brand needed to make a strong first impression—visually, digitally, and physically.

Our studio was brought in to build the brand from the ground up: from a compelling visual identity and standout product packaging to a seamless e-commerce experience, social media presence, and an immersive exhibition booth.

Our Approach
We crafted a vibrant brand system that could live across physical products, digital platforms, and public experiences. Our goal was to create a consistent and delightful customer journey—from the moment someone saw a packshot online to the moment they engaged with the brand in person.

What We delivered

Visual Identity System
We created a joyful and distinct brand identity inspired by childhood imagination and African design aesthetics. The visual system includes a bold color palette, playful typography, and a brand pattern reflecting textiles.

Bringing the Collections to Life: Nemy, Nala & Zella
To build stronger emotional connections and help kids identify with the brand, we created 3D illustrated characters to model each of the core Doll House Fashion collections. Each character reflects the style of their collection — reinforcing storytelling while making it easier for young customers to relate to and choose their favorite outfits.

Meet the Collections

Nemy – The Joyful Explorer
Playful, and always ready for adventure. Nemy’s collection is vibrant, featuring bold patterns and youthful energy.

Nala – The Trendsetter
Stylish and confident, Nala loves to mix tradition with flair. Her outfits blend bold silhouettes with rich African textures.

Zella – The Graceful Dreamer
Elegant and composed, Zella’s wardrobe features flowing patterns that speak to quiet confidence and beauty.

These characters serve not only as visual anchors for the collections but as entry points for storytelling in social media, e-commerce filtering, and even potential future merchandise or animated content.

Packaging & Product Experience
We designed a packaging system that showcased the uniqueness of each doll outfit collection—Nala, Zella, and Nemy—while maintaining brand consistency.

E-commerce Website Design & Development
We built a warm, intuitive e-commerce platform that lets parents discover and shop effortlessly. The site balances storytelling with clarity — showcasing collections, telling the brand story, and driving conversions.

Digital Marketing Strategy
We created a lightweight launch campaign strategy to help Doll House Fashion gain traction through owned channels and earned media. This included:

  1. A 4-week Instagram content rollout plan

  2. Suggested ad formats and budget allocation

  3. Influencer seeding recommendations targeting mommy bloggers, and parenting platforms

Social Media Content & Design
We developed social media assets for Instagram, including:

  1. Product spotlight posts

  2. Reels concepts for unboxing moments

  3. Highlight covers and post templates

These assets helped the brand build a strong visual identity and voice on social media while driving traffic to the website.

Experiential & Exhibition Booth Design
For a 4-day design exhibition, we created an immersive brand booth that brought Doll House Fashion into the physical world. From branded displays and shelving to backdrops and doll-stage sets, we ensured that the booth felt like a living extension of the brand.
